AG Architecture & Interior is a Pune-based studio led by Adesh Galitkar — architecture, interior design, and building planning rooted in craft, clarity, and care.
Principal Architect & Founder
AG Architecture & Interior was founded by Adesh Galitkar with a singular conviction: that architecture should not just shelter people — it should elevate them. Trained in modern architectural practice and grounded in the discipline of building planning, Adesh brings a rare duality to every project — equal parts artist and craftsman, equal parts dreamer and detailer.
For him, design is never an imposition on a site — it is a response to it. Every project begins with stillness: walking the plot, watching the light, listening to how the family or business wants to inhabit the space. Only then does the pencil move.
This patient, deeply considered approach is what gives AG Architecture projects their distinctive warmth, their honesty of materials, and their quiet confidence — design that doesn't shout, but stays with you long after you've walked through.
We don't arrive with templates. We listen to your site, your routines, your concerns — and design from what we hear.
Wood that's wood. Stone that's stone. We favour materials that show their character rather than imitate something else.
Good design doesn't need to shout. Carefully considered proportion gives spaces a calmness you feel before you can name it.
Sun, rain, wind, dust — we design for the way buildings actually live in Pune's climate, not for glossy renders alone.
A skirting profile, a switch placement, the grain direction of a door — they all matter. Details are how we show we care.
A building should look better in 10 years than on day one. We design for the patina, not just the photograph.
Architecture, interior design, and building planning are not separate projects with handoffs between firms. They're three lenses on the same idea — and we believe they belong together.
When the architect, the interior designer, and the planner are the same studio, the result is a building that feels like one continuous thought from facade to floor plate to furniture.
Walking the site, listening to the brief, studying the constraints.
Translating the brief into spatial moves, massing options, and material direction.
Plans, sections, 3D visualisations — refined together until the design feels right.
Working drawings, structural co-ordination, municipal sanctions.
Contractor co-ordination, material approvals, site supervision, handover.
Awards, publications, and press coverage will appear here as the studio's archive grows. If you'd like to feature our work, get in touch.
Whether you have a plot, a brief, or just a feeling — start with a conversation.
